Privacy Policy & Cookie Disclosure

At Docs Ocr Pro, safeguarding your privacy is our highest engineering priority. This document explains our 100% client-side data processing architecture, our use of cookies, and third-party advertising disclosures required by Google AdSense.

1. Core Commitment: 100% Client-Side Privacy

Unlike conventional cloud-based document scanning services that require user registration and upload your private documents to remote servers, Docs Ocr Pro operates on a revolutionary 100% client-side execution model.

Zero Server File Retention Guarantee

When you use our application to photograph physical documents, detect edges with OpenCV AI, apply CamScanner image enhancement filters, extract text via Tesseract OCR, or generate PDF files, 100% of the mathematical computation and image rendering occurs strictly within your device's random access memory (RAM) and local browser storage (IndexedDB / localStorage). No document images, thumbnails, camera streams, or OCR text transcriptions are ever transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by Docs Ocr Pro servers or our staff.

Because your files never leave your computer or mobile smartphone, you retain total, exclusive ownership and confidentiality over your personal identification cards, financial receipts, legal contracts, and medical records.

2. Cookie Policy & Web Beacons

Like almost all professional websites, Docs Ocr Pro utilizes cookies (small text files placed on your device's hard drive or browser storage) to enhance user experience, remember UI preferences, and support our free operational model through advertisements.

Types of Cookies Used:
  • Essential Functional Cookies & Storage: Used locally by your browser (via localStorage and IndexedDB) to save your customized theme preferences (dark/light mode), active filter choices, and your offline document library. These do not track you across the internet.
  • Analytical Cookies: Anonymous performance counters that help us understand web traffic statistics, such as which browser versions or screen resolutions are most frequently visiting our software, allowing us to optimize mobile responsiveness and AI loading speeds.
  • Advertising & Monetization Cookies: Third-party cookies deployed by advertising partners (including Google AdSense) to serve advertisements that keep Docs Ocr Pro 100% free for everyone without paywalls.

3. Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookies

To maintain Docs Ocr Pro as a free, professional-grade web utility, we partner with Google AdSense and third-party advertising networks to display ads when you visit our website.

Mandatory Google Advertising Disclosure
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites on the Internet.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to Docs Ocr Pro (https://docsocrpro.jaiexportinvestmentco.in) and/or other sites across the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Docs Ocr Pro, which are sent directly to users' browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit. Docs Ocr Pro has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

4. Log Files & Server Diagnostics

Like standard web hosting environments globally, Docs Ocr Pro follows a standard procedure of using server log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

These logs are strictly for server administration, analyzing traffic trends, tracking system stability, and preventing DDoS or brute-force cyber attacks. They are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable or to any documents/photos processed inside your offline library.

5. Hardware Permissions (Camera Access)

When you access our Camera Scan Studio, your web browser will prompt you for permission to access your device's video camera (via the HTML5 navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia API).

Strict Hardware Sandboxing: Camera access is used solely for live video streaming within your browser viewport so you can capture document photos. No video feeds or frames are ever recorded in background processes, streamed to external networks, or monitored by third parties. You can revoke camera permissions at any time via your browser's site settings address bar lock icon .

6. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users are entitled to comprehensive rights regarding their digital footprint:

  • Right to Erasure / Deletion: Because all scanned documents are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB database, you have immediate, unilateral power to erase 100% of your data without waiting for server processing. Simply click the "Clear Local Data" button in our website footer or clear your browser history/cache.
  • Right to Data Portability: You can export and download any or all of your processed documents at any time as standard A4/Letter PDF files or plain text .txt OCR transcriptions.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Docs Ocr Pro will never charge you a fee, degrade software quality, or deny you access to OCR scanning tools for exercising your privacy rights or opting out of personalized advertising.

7. Children's Information (COPPA)

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Docs Ocr Pro does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
